Peacock Cake Smash

Peacock themed cake smash session.
This was a very special session. My Goddaughter is turning 1! I remember doing her fresh 48hrs and newborn pictures and now it was time for a cake smash!
Ewa’s mom was a braidsmaid at a peacock-themed wedding few weeks ago and she fell in love with those decorations. She asked me if we could use peacock as a theme for a cake smash and of course I was all for it. I looked for a special outfit and spent days planning our session.
I loved how the decorations and the outfit turned out. Then it was time for the cake. When Rosie came to my studio with her decadent creation I was speechless. The cake completed our vision. It looked awsome! I loved the colors and how everything matched perfectly.
Ewa looked amazing wearing a peacock tutu and headband. She loved the cake and had so much fun tasting it. I feel so blessed to be able to capture the first year of Ewa’s life and I can’t wait to give her a beautiful album with all of the pictures I took during that first year.

Micky Mouse Cake Smash

Mickey Mouse themed cake smash times two.
Twins! I love twins! When this mommy contacted me about doing a Mickey and Mini themed cake smash I was very exited. Before the session we talked about decorations and what cakes we will order.
Rosie did a really good job customizing two cakes for our session.
Adrianna from Perfect Party Essentials made the banner to match. Everything came together so well.
The twins loved playing with their cakes and loved eating them too!

Somerset County Cake Smash Session

Monster Inc. Cake Smash
I was very excited when mommy told me she wanted to do monster inc theme cake smash.
I ordered the perfect cake from Rosi’s Cakes And Decoration from Perfect Party Essentials (https://www.etsy.com/shop/PartiesByAdriana?ref=l2-shop-header-avatar ).  Everything matched perfectly!
Dominic did really good job smashing the cake and he was covered with icing from head to toes.

Somerset County Newborn Boy Session

I love photographing newborns. This time I was photographing not only this handsome boy but also his sibilings. I did big brother Jack’s first birthday pictures a few weeks ago so he and his sister Sarah were already familiar with my studio.
I always start newborn sessions with sibiling pictures.  It is very hot in my studio during a newborn session ( 85*F) so I always encurage coming with another adult who can take the older children home after we are done shooting sibiling pictures.  A newborn session can take up to 3 hours so it’s not easy for younger kids to be here for that long.
How sweet is this little boy? I love every single picture from that session.

Olivia – New Jersey Newborn Session

I just love every family that comes to my studio but this was a very special session. I met Crystal 2 years ago when I was just starting my photography buisness. She was one of my very first clients and she is still coming to me few times a year. I remember when I met her for the first time – we did her twin girls’ 1st birthday session. Now the girls are almost 3 and it was time to photograph them with a precious little sister. When Crystal told me she was pregnant I was so happy. I couldn’t wait to meet that little girl.  Oh how adorable she is! She looks just like her big sister Allysa.

Claudia – Somerset County Newborn Pictures

What do I love about photographing newborns?  Capturing the first moments that can be cherished forever. Claudia came to my studio for a Mini Session but mommy loved the pictures so much that she wanted to keep all of them from her album.  We used turquoise and peach colors. I love experimenting with colors, especially unique shades like these. Mommy brought 1 outfit and a few headbands with her and I just loved them so much that we traded the outfit and headbands for extra pictures!

Somerset County Newborn Session

Elizabeth came to the studio with her mommy, daddy and big sister Holly. We started the session with some Holiday-themed pictures. Holly was wearing a beautiful dress in a neutral color that matched my holiday backdrop perfectly.
Little Elizabeth was such a good model. We did a few prop shoots followed by bean bag poses. Oh how I love those angelic, chubby newborns!

New Jersey Newborn Baby Boy

How cute is this little fox? I just got this precious outfit in my props closet and ten-day-old baby Aaron was the first to try it on. When his mom initially entered my studio, she saw all the girly glittery headbands and sadly mentioned that there are so many fun options for girls, but not so much for the infant boys. Well, I was happy to show her that you can get just as creative with boy sessions. When she saw the outfits I had laid out for Aaron she was so happy and excited. She also brought three hats that she wanted to use. I love when parents bring their own special touches. It really helps me see what they envision for their photos. Aaron was the perfect model and his mommy had trouble choosing her favorite images from the many many great shots taken.

New Jersey Family Fall Mini Sessions

In October I had a family mini session in Colonial Park in Franklin. The event sold out and I was thrilled that we had glorious weather on the appointed day. Fall is my favorite time of the year and the foliage was at its peak, providing a beautiful backdrop. It was a pleasure to work with all the families, familiar and new and see how the kids were growing.
